Building Bridges Foundation is a Lancaster County nonprofit dedicated to honoring those who served by bridging the gap between military life and civilian life through the transformative power of equine therapy — offering veterans and their families a peaceful, pressure-free farm setting where horses respond to emotions, fostering healing from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Beyond the barn, their weekly Veterans Café gathers vets every Thursday morning for coffee, camaraderie, and community — no agenda, just the kind of genuine connection that reminds those who served that they are never alone. With over 100 veterans helped and 500 therapy sessions completed, Building Bridges is proof that healing is possible, and that sometimes the most powerful therapist has four hooves.
